One thing the 16-year-old does know is that he will use his newly-acquired popularity to better the lives of his family members.

Faisal Khan is still a few years away from getting a driving licence for the swank XUV he won on being declared winner of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded on Saturday night. He is not sure what to do with the Rs 30 lakh prize money either, so he has decided to let his parents take a call.

One thing the 16-year-old does know is that he will use his newly-acquired popularity to better the lives of his family members.
"I am the eldest child of my family and have three sisters. I would like to help my father in taking their responsibility," he says, about how becoming a household name could change life for him.

He has plans for his father, too. "Papa is an auto-rickshaw driver. I told him he should never drive an auto again. It saddens me to see him struggle with his auto in the harshest of weather, just to make money for us," he says.
Faisal beat Sanaya Irani, Mohit Malik and Shamita Shetty in a dance power-packed super finale on Saturday night.

"I feel I am on seventh cloud, sorry, heaven. I feel I am floating on a cloud!" he said.

Faisal is so excited it takes a while for him to get his words right. "I always believed I had to compete with myself rather than my rivals. Every time someone said I had given a good performance, my challenge would be to better myself the next time.

Being too concerned about the competition would have distracted me," he said.
He is glad he managed to make his parents happy.

"My parents are so happy! I started dancing when I was six or seven and neglected my studies then, so they were not so sure. It was only after I won Dance India Dance Li'l Masters 2 that they realised I could make a career in dancing," he recalled.

Faisal's immediate plan is to garner more visibility on television shows. "I want to do everything. I want to dance, I want to act. I want to be like Shah Rukh Khan. He is a selfmade superstar who did it all by himself with no film background," he said.

The winner of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded, Faisal Khan, (dressed in red sari) shakes a leg with Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, Lauren Gottlieb and Ganesh Hegde. The 16-year-old beat finalists Sanaya Irani, Mohit Malik and Shamita Shetty to take home the trophy.
