Dynamic, versatile, and power-packed, the dusky beauty of small screen, Rajshri Thakur, has made a huge name for herself in the industry. Even after being counted as one of the finest performers on television, Rajshri does not have many shows in her kitty.
The choosy actress has wowed us with her characters as Saloni on Saat Phere and Maharani Jaiwanta Bai on Maharana Paratap. When it comes to donning a strong personality, Rajshri takes away the cake. In a heart-to-heart conversation with Tvtalks, the actress shares the reason behind her choosy stand.
"Saloni from Saat Phere went onto become hugely popular. Even the character of Jaiwanta Bai was well received by the audiences. After doing such impactful characters, I simply don't want to take up just any role for the sake of it. Until I am offered some performance-based role, I have decided not to take up any project."
So, what kind of projects you are eyeing now?
Rajshri said, "One thing that I wish to do in the future is to host a show like Oprah Winfrey. Speaking about television dramas, I would love to play the character of a cop like Kavita Choudhury in Udann. Powerful women have always attracted me."
Before signing off, the lady also mentioned how she is enjoying her married life. We wish her an interesting project to work on soon…
