The quest for an actress to play Anusha in the TV show 'Mohi' has finally come to an end.
After Asha Negi and Nikita Sharma quit the show, the makers have finally roped in Rishma Rochlani for the part. While Asha opted out of the project at the last minute when she realised that her role was that of a parallel lead, Nikita left the show when both she and the channel felt that she couldn't do justice to the role.
The production house then approached Srishty Rode, currently seen in Hello Pratibha. The deal, however, failed to materialise, making way for Rishma.
Incidentally, Rishma, who was last seen in Chand Chupa Badal Mein, is returning to TV after four years. We hear that the actress was busy with theatre and travelling. "The story, based in Pune, will have Rishma playing a doctor," says a source working on the show. The actress, however, remained unavailable for comment.
