Adaa Khan, who was last seen in Piya Basanti Re, has taken to anchoring with the comedy show, The Great Indian Family Drama.
She says, "Anchoring is something I always wanted to do as it requires you to be spontaneous. It's even more exciting as the show is a comedy. I have never attempted that genre before.
It's a new experience for me because I have always done daily soaps. An actor craves for variety and it is giving me that opportunity. Another reason why I couldn't refuse the show is that I get to look glamorous on the show.
I am wearing western outfits mostly, which is a welcome change after being sari or salwar-kameez clad in my TV shows." However, the catch is that she has to control her laughter each time she takes to stage to host the show.
"The artistes are brilliant and I can't stop laughing watching their acts. I have shot two episodes so far and it feels like home now," she states.
