Bollywood singer Shaan, who will next appear as a coach in "The Voice India", was seen dabbing wet cloth on his face to keep the swelling on his cheek down while shooting for the premiere of the singing based reality show.
According to a source from the set, Shaan was actually working out with a resistance band, which unfortunately got snapped out of his hand and landed on his face with such force that he ended up with an inflammation. However, the 42-year-old kept going with the shoot despite the swollen face.
"Shaan was accidentally hit by a resistance band on the sets while he was working out before getting into the shot. But unfortunately the band hit his cheek and his face was all red and swollen. The coach of the show was down with terrible pain but he shot for the entire episode with great spirit and enthusiasm," the source said in a statement.
Hosted by actor Karan Tacker, the Indian version of the internationally acclaimed TV show "The Voice" will be aired on &TV starting Saturday.
