Mandira Bedi says as the upcoming season has taken on a fast forward mode to the third installment of the international show, her role has been chopped off.

"I do feel bad. I loved playing that character and I don't think anything else that I have done on TV except 'Shanti' that matches up with that role," Mandira Bedi said.

Mandira Bedi is upset over not being a part of the second season of "24". The actress-designer says as the upcoming season has taken on a fast forward mode to the third installment of the international show, her role has been chopped off.

"I'm not in the new season of '24' because they have done the time leap and they have got season three of the original which is going to be season two (in India). There is no role of my character,"

Mandira was seen in an action avatar with the Indian adaptation of the American show along with Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor. She left an everlasting impression on the minds of the audience as a RAW agent.

"I do feel bad. I loved playing that character and I don't think anything else that I have done on TV except 'Shanti' that matches up with that role," she added.

The show brought a refreshing change in the world of television with a new concept and production values. Mandira may not be a part of the show, but the new season of the Colors show will have a string of new faces.

Mandira believes in letting bygones be bygones, and asserted that there is no dearth in offers for TV as "lovely work is coming my way".
