The team shot their last episode yesterday
Sony TV's popular newsroom drama, Reporters is finally coming to an end. Though the show did not manage to rise high on the TRP charts, it did enjoy a decent run as fans of both, Rajeev Khandelwal and Kritika Kamra were eager to catch them after a very long hiatus. The two managed to create quite an impression with their stint as journalists, but like all good things, this one must come to an end too. The show, which is set to end on a happy note, will be pulled off air soon and the team shot for the last episode yesterday. Post their shoot, the team gathered for a small success celebration which was attended by the entire cast including former members Puru Chibber, Megha Chatterjee, Khushboo Purohit and others.
The show's end comes as no surprise as it was planned to be a finite series with seasons. However whether the show has garnered enough attention to have a season 2 or not, is yet to be seen, but Rajeev has already claimed that he would love to be part of it if there will be a second season. Talking about the same, Rajeev had said in an earlier interview to a leading daily, "I just know that everyone is happy with the show and whatever response the channel and the makers expected, the show has garnered that. I don't know if there will be a second season, but in the future too I would definitely take up something if it is as different as this."
The show will be replaced by Ekta Kapoor's upcoming love drama, Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do which stars Mona Singh and Iqbal Khan in lead roles.
