Electrifying NCR youth at Roadies audition

The downpour on Monday evening didn't deter the several thousand youngsters from NCR and beyond to camp at Noida's Expocentre starting early
Tuesday morning for the auditions of reality show 'Roadies Xtreme'. Aspirants from Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, and even from Uttarakhand,
Rajasthan and UP started queuing up outside the venue before the break of dawn for the auditions. Most kept themselves entertained by organizing
mock dance-offs and feats of strength on the roads of Sector 62, much to the annoyance of the cops stationed at the venue. Noida Police had
deputed over 30 cops for crowd control at the auditions. "Some of the boys are being a bit too excited and getting on the roads doing push-ups and stuff,
which hinders traffic movement. We are trying to keep them from doing that. Apart from that, they have been well-behaved," said a police official.
As the line for the entry swelled and stopped moving for an hour in the afternoon, bored aspirants organized mini dance and
acrobatic competition on the roadside itself. This was followed by impromptu push-up challenges and weighted squats, where some
of the bulkier men picked up fellow aspirants on their shoulders.
The four judges - Rannvijay Singha, Nikhil Chinapa, Neha Dhupia, and Prince Narula - arrived in the afternoon. Rannvijay said,
"Delhi mein josh kuch zyada hi hai. Every year, we get maximum number of contestants from Delhi and that is because Delhi people
already have that Roadies wala attitude - the bindaas, devil-may-care attitude that people have here. That is why it is always fun to come here."
