On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the Delhi Court granted divorce to Master Chef India Judge Kunal Kapur with her Wife Ekta Kapoor on the grounds of cruelty.
The famous Indian Chef and Master chef India Judge Kunal Kapur is divorced by his estranged wife on the grounds of cruelty on Tuesday. The Delhi court also brought up that the woman’s conduct towards the chef was devoid of dignity and empathy. The bench of justices was none other than Suresh Kumar Kait and Neena Bansal ,Krishna.
Chef Kunal Kapur got married in the year of 2008, and his son was born in 2012. The Delhi court says that according to the afore-noted facts of the present case, the respondent ( Ekta Kapoor) towards the appellant( Kunal Kapur) has been devoid of dignity and empathy towards him. When this is the nature of the spouse towards the other, it brings disgrace to the marriage life. The court further adds that there exists no possible reason for why he was compelled to live while enduring the agony of living together.
Kunal Kapur who has celebrity fame accused his wife of never respecting his parents and treated him disgracefully. On the other hand, the woman accused him of making fake allegations to mislead the court and she adds that she was living as a loving and loyal wife towards him.
The master chef India Judge mentioned that his wife threatened him in order to spread rumours against him while he started gaining popularity. She often threatens Kunal Kapur and his family by making phone calls to the police. The celebrity chef also shares an incident that happened in 2016, where during the show shooting of Master Chef India at Yash Raj Studios; his wife barged into the studio with their son and created a commotion.
