Actor Kanwar Dhillon says he enjoys doing TV shows and has portrayed a variety of roles in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Internet Wala Love, and Hum Hai Na. He shared I want to do different things, but it doesn’t mean that I will settle for small roles in movies or OTTs. Further, Kanwar continued, I want to do substantial roles that help shape my career. Now, I am playing a lead role in Udne Ki Aasha.

Even in my last show, I played Shiva, a prominent character in Pandya Store. He also added I will never do those five-minute roles in movies. Kanwar said every actor is ambitious and wants to act in different mediums. Then, Kanwar expressed his thoughts about casting agents; he said they often feel TV actors are overexposed.

I have heard from the casting agents that if a TV actor wants to do films or OTT, then they need to take a break from small screens. How will any TV actor do this? I remember auditioning for a web show, and the casting agent liked my work and wanted to stay at home for a year. Because he felt I was overexposed, I don’t understand this, Kanwar concludes.
