The makers of Anupamaa confirmed actor Gaurav Sharma is replacing Aashish Mehrotra as Toshu. Yes, handsome actor Aashish announces his exit from the popular television drama Anupamaa last week. He penned down an emotional note for the team members and producer, Rajan Shahi. However, Aashish fans are excited to see him on the adventurous journey of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Meanwhile, Anupamaa fans are also excited to witness the charming actor Gaurav Sharma’s performance as Toshu. The actor also shares his happiness about being a part of the show.
Actor Gaurav Sharma is well-known for portraying the role of Yuvraj in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Reacting to his return to DKP Productions with a new show and fresh avatar, Gaurav said all of a sudden, Anupamaa came in my life like a blessing. It’s a pleasure to be working with such nice people and such a nice production house again, which is also the number one show on Indian television.
Gaurav highlighted that this is his second show with Rajan Sir, and I received lots of love for my first show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Further, he continued about his role, Toshu in Anupamaa. Sharma shared Toshu’s character is portrayed as a spoiled child who tends to ruin any task he undertakes. Paritosh’s character lacks direction and doesn’t share a strong bond with his mother.
He added, other actors are helping me, my directors are assisting me, and they tell a lot about the character before commencing the shoot. He expressed his gratitude and said I am happy to be a part of the show and to work with such talented individuals.
