Actor Shubham Patil opens up about his childhood and insists on his parents for bringing Ganpati Bappa at home. He previously acted in another Marathi TV serial “Tujhya Majhya Sansarala Aani Kay Hava!”
He said their family used to worship Ganpati, but they never celebrated this Ganesh Chaturthi in a grand setting. Also, he shared about his convince of parents to the media. After seeing the Ganesh Chaturthi at a neighbor’s home, he wished to keep the Ganesh Idol in his house. As a child, he insisted parents do the same as others, which he said.
Shubham told to media that he celebrated the festivities with his parents for 7 days in his hometown Sangali. This man looks so happy to get blessings from Ganpati and celebrate this year with his lovable parents.
This actor also continued to share that being Maratha how this festival holds great significance in their community. As well as he shared some history about Bal Gangadhar Tilak. In 1983, freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak started public Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. He said that however, India won independence from the British with Bappa’s blessings.
Additionally, he feels great about how this festival united family, friends, and relatives together. It creates a great vibe and gives him pleasure to enjoy a lot. He continued that Lord Ganesh is a popular deity worshipped across. More than that, he expressed Tilak transformed this private celebration into a grand public event to unite India against the British. So this festival holds a huge significance in people's lives, which he ended.
