Shweta Tiwari who is a popular celebrity in the entertainment industry has opened up about why television stars need to sleep in their makeup. She also reveals her views on daily soaps being made on television. Check out her recent candid conversation!

Shweta Tiwari gained a massive fan base for her stunning performance in the serial Kasauttii Zindagii Kay. The actress told Bollywood Hungama that the television artists used to have episodes for an entire week. When she approached the set, the production team told her that they were going to shoot for the next day's telecast. Ekta Kapoor told that Anurag who is the main lead is going to be dead to grab the attention of the audience. She was given the script, and it involves the storyline of Karwa Chauth and the death of Anurag. And She asked Ekta Kapoor if she wasn’t Aparna, was a nice woman.

To explain that, Ekta Kapoor said that the storyline and twists and plots were all about TRP ratings. Whenever Ekta Kapoor felt that TRP was going down, she decided to kill someone in the serial to keep the audience engaged. When they asked about why television stars are sleeping with makeup on the serials, she replied that nobody is going to wear makeup for their sleep. But whenever the television stars go with real faces without makeup, the audience is not ready to witness the saliva coming out from their mouth, and their messy eyes and hairs. All they need to watch the beautiful faces on the television screen. As they were shooting back-to-back scenes, it was quite hard to remove makeup and apply it again. So, they just change clothes for different scenes and go with the same makeup.
