Due to that, she had to quit the reality show Celebrity Masterchef mid-way. Her partner actor Shoaib Ibrahim also announced last week that his wife had a tennis ball-sized liver tumor. It was supposed to be operated on which he shared through his vlog.

During this tough time, Sasural Simar Ka actress made an announcement on her social media. Dipika shared that she has been diagnosed with second-stage cancer. Her post detailed about, “As you all are aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us…walking into the hospital for pain in the upper areas of my stomach…and then finding out it’s a tennis ball size tumor in the liver and then finding out that the tumor is second stage Malignant (Cancerous)…it has been one of the most difficult time we have seen, experienced!” The post continued with, “I am all positive and determined to face this and walk our stronger InshAllah! With my entire family being my side….and All the LOVE and PRAYERS pouring in from all of you I will sail through this too! It ended with “InshAllah, Keep me in your prayers! Lots Of Love”.
