She is all set to appear as a new character in the show Jhanak. Recently, she opened up about her decision to return to television. With it, she also added about the unexpected twists in her career path and the character that reignited her passion for acting.

For the question of what made her appear in this upcoming show, she shared, I’m someone who thrives on work—I genuinely can’t stay idle for too long,” Twinkle begins candidly. “When Khoobsurat was abruptly shelved, it hit me hard. It felt like a very dark and uncertain phase in my life. That’s when I decided to take a step back from television and shift my focus towards films.

I was approached for a cameo in a serial with one of my former co-stars. The process was already in motion—we did mock shoots, and look tests, and were almost at the contract stage. Initially, it was supposed to be a short stint until November or December, but suddenly the character was extended to a year-long arc. Just as I was preparing for that commitment, the role was unexpectedly restructured and they decided to go in a different direction.

However, she got the role in Jhanak and said, “That’s when I knew. It felt like the universe—or perhaps God—was nudging me toward a long-term, fulfilling project. I didn’t hesitate. I signed on for Jhanak, and I haven’t looked back since”.
