Mohali/Kharar, July 10 ( ): Punjab is now becoming a hub of entertainment and due to the production of Punjabi films in large numbers, business has also increased, which is why there has also been an increase in journalists to take the entertainment sector forward. Whether it is satellite channels or web channels, in today's era of social media, everyone is contributing and journalists were facing a lot of difficulties in this field, which requires an organization to overcome. That is why the heads of various TV channels and print media decided together that it was necessary to have such an organization, in which the difficulties could be discussed, due to the enthusiasm of all, a recognized body was formed, which was named 'Entertainment Press Association'.

Today, the first meeting of the organization was held under the leadership of ABC News, channel's head S. Jagtar Singh Bhullar, in a local hotel in Mohali. In which Jashan Gill from Forever TV channel was unanimously appointed as the chairman. In this organization, Kulwant Gill from Lishkara TV has been appointed as the president, Dinesh from Dream Punjabi as the treasurer, Sandeep Joshi from Chaska TV as the senior vice president, Sukhwinder Sukhi from Punjabi Tikana as the vice president, Tejinder Kaur from Lishkara TV has been appointed as the general secretary. Sandeep Kamboj has been appointed as the vice president of Daily Post, R.B.J. Chauhan as the vice president, Maninder Singh from Pendu TV as the vice president, Ramandeep Singh from liveIn Channel as the vice president, Shivam Mahajan from World Punjabi as the stage secretary, Manpreet Aulakh from Fact News as the press secretary, Narinjan Lehal from Siddhi Gal TV channel as the chief advisor. Harjinder Jawanda has been appointed as the chairman of the welcoming committee. S. Kulbir Singh Kalsi from Financial World has been appointed as an advisor. Simranjit Singh from Udari Channel has been appointed as an advisor and Amandeep Singh (Single Track Studio and Punjabi Dunia.com) has been appointed as a member. In this organization, cameraman Nitin (Daily Post) has been made a member, Manpreet Khullar from Dainik Savera has been made a member, Rohit Bajaj from Kudrat TV, Sumit Khanna from Great Punjab TV have been made a member.

On this special occasion, Harjinder Jawanda said that today there was a need of the hour to create such an organization and today he is happy to create the organization, the president of the organization Kulwant Gill said that any problem faced by journalists working in the field will be solved if needed, the journalists will also be helped. Moreover, every journalist will also be provided with an insurance of 5 lakhs. Chairman Jashan Gill said that if any trouble befalls a journalist, the entire EPA team will help that needy journalist. General Secretary of the organization Tejinder Kaur said that the organization is organizing a big event in the coming days. In which all the members will be felicitated.
