Exclusive: ‘Kanwaljeet Singh suggested my name for a Family number 1 show’ saves Kabir Sadanand from his plans to quit dreams

Kabir Sadanand is one of the famous Indian actor and film director. He had directed certain moves that got him well recognized, and notable for his performances.
Family No.1 show had been on airs from 1998 to 1999, which featured Kanwaljeet Singh as a divorcee. The three sons were starred by Rahul, Rashmi, and Guddu and the father role is Deepak Malhotra.
In an exclusive interview, Kabir opened up about how he was about to quit his dreams. He also adds how he had been cast in the show.
He says, there were a lot of struggles before the show almost making me want to give up and walk away from my dreams. Kanwalijeet Singh, who played my grandfather in Daraar had suggested my name that I should be his son. I auditioned and two days later landed in the show. I am ever so grateful to him, Sanjay, and Beni the producers.
This show had a good kick start, with 14 years of nonstop telecasting and hard work. Later, after 3000 episodes, Kabir had planned to enlighten the show with good work using his talent. He adds that some bad and very bad works are a part of his learning process. Plus, he draws back to those old good times to how he had become popular.
Kabir says, to be honest, the show changed everything for me. It has helped in making us all household names. He also expressed how odd he had felt during the initial days when people recognized him on the streets. And after this incident, being a little popular people are captive to this show even after 25 years. He felt satisfied that he had done something right.
