Child actor Dhriti celebrates her birthday, vows to support street kids with study materials

MUMBAI: Child artiste, model and actor Dhriti celebrated her birthday yesterday with her friends and family.

She turned 12 and as a birthday pledge vowed to support street kids in Mumbai with study and drawing and painting materials.

Speaking to this website, a beaming Dhriti who is of Punjabi descent, said she got lots of gifts and many of them were drawing and painting materials like water color paints, painting books, crayons, sketch pens and the like.

She has promised to donate her gifts to street kids so that they can enjoy the joy of drawing and painting, like most normal kids of their age would do.

Dhriti will soon be seen in a web series for kids, but for now she is concentrating on her studies, which according to her own admission is her Achilles heel - something that her mother is furious about.

She has auditioned for several projects and audiences can expect to see her very soon on the small screen.
